DLC BioWare talks about Mass Effect 2

Grag Zeschuk, BioWare’s founder, revealed that the studio has learned from its past mistakes regarding the DLC and the downloadable content for the sequel will be completely cool and all sorts of kick ass.

“The challenge of DLC is interesting because not only are you balancing what you can bear with engine technology, but you always have to consider the fan expectactivas. I think people are fair and see things for what they are, the two downloadable content packages Mass Effect are, in fact, unique experiences.

We have much to learn from the Mass Effect DLC and not just in general, we have done to the core too. The biggest thing we learned is that you must create the DLC as a vital part of your plan. In the sense that it is a real part of the development process, before the game is released.

And what I mean by that is the act of creating it and remove it, I mean, make sure that no details or problems with the way it connects with darkfall gold, is something you need to do from the beginning. And I think that this will be our strategy in Dragon Age: Origins, that will be our strategy in Mass Effect 2: make it an essential part of the experience. We learned a lot and we DLC great, both in Dragon Age as in Mass Effect 2. ”

“Downloadable content for Mass Effect 2? Yes please. Only this time I hope it really is much sharper than the first; in any way, this game depicts one of the best that we come next year. What do you think?
