The launch of the title of which I speak today is a good demonstration of the intention to follow Capcom revealing unknown aspects of the saga Resident Evil on Wii.
Following the release of Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles in 2007, the company returns to give us a shooter on rails gameplay but very sophisticated. This sequel is all that Umbrella Chronicles was not, with a very polished game system, a technical section that takes a lot more Wii’s potential, and a history, of aion kinah, as interesting as its predecessor.
Once again, the game hits stores in two versions, one single and one with the addition of the Wii Zapper, the device as a gun for the Nintendo console. It has already proved to be the best choice for shooters, but it is an interesting workaround for not having to buy another accessory and give it a useful addition to the combination of Wiimote and nunchuk.
As Umbrella Chronicles, this episode is shedding light on dark aspects of the series and reveal information about events unknown to us. This is a great way to fill in plot holes and entertain in a way different than we are accustomed in the Resident Evil franchise.
At this time we will participate at levels associated with the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica, sometimes reliving situations already know (like the arrival of Leon and Claire in the police station in Raccoon City). It also stressed the plot known as Operation Javier, in which Leon will team up with Jack Krauser, a special forces member.
